ATLA: The Gaang
This ATLA Series Collection is based on nickelodeon's hit cartoon//anime Avatar: The Last Airbender. The collection features characters that are from the show and are all originally painted by me.
I decided to create this series because i wanted to give a sort of salute to one of my favorite shows OF ALL TIME. I grew up watching this show and i remember the feeling of excitement soaring through my body as i seen a new character get introduced in the most bad-ass fight scene (in proper goated ATLA style). Since finishing the show when i was younger, i've still been obsessed with it since, and it's always because i resonated with the 'Gaang' members of Aang's inner circle. Each member in this collection has a trait that reminds me of myself, so i wanted to share with you a piece of my chidlhood, and in turn, a piece of me. ◡̈
